Former recipient of the ICF Prism Award for excellence in organizational coaching, Jennifer Gervès-Keen is one of a few Canadians to hold the Master Corporate Executive Coach designation, reserved for coaches operating at mastery levels within corporate environments. Jennifer’s consulting practice is focused on offering exceptional learning & development experiences within organizations. An expert trainer, facilitator and coach, primarily in the areas of leadership, coaching and performance management, Jennifer creates innovative development programs as well as advising organizations and businesses on how to be more effective.
Jennifer has had much success in moving disengaged groups forward through honest and effective coaching, achieving better leadership and team alignment. She is particularly skilled at working with diverse executive teams and has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by leaders within both operational and service environments. Her varied background touches on many sectors including non-profit, manufacturing, engineering, law, communications, higher education and politics, and she offers a different perspective based on her own organizational and international experiences. Her workshops are rich with practical, real-life business knowledge and experience and are focused on applicable, useful learning.
Jennifer is committed to lifelong learning and has been continually updating her skill set since receiving her Master’s Degree in Adult Learning & Development in 2004. In the past few years she has completed the Foundations in Neuroscience program with the NLI, Seth Godin’s altMBA program and received her CMC (Certified Mentor Coach) designation, which underpins the work she is doing with her clients in developing innovative and effective internal coaching and leadership development programs.
Regarded by her clients as being someone who brings instant value and understanding of their organizational culture, Jennifer has the ability to integrate all aspects of the business into her coaching, helping senior leaders connect the dots and better incorporate leadership and business together. Jennifer's current clients include Deloitte and the CPA along with many smaller organizations particularly in technology, engineering and finance. She has extensive experience working with most areas of the private and non-profit sector and at all levels of government.
Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree in Learning and Development from the UK, and a BA in History from the University of Victoria. Jennifer spent 12 years living and working in France, and is fluent in French. She is an active member of the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches and is currently part of their Braintrust build team. Jennifer also volunteers locally through the CoachGiving program of the Vancouver chapter of the ICF (International Coach Federation) which provides pro-bono coaching for non-profit executives.
